Rev. Dr. Lewis J. Dixon, Pastor
our Pastor
Second Baptist Church is honored and excited to announce our new Pastor, Rev. Dr. Lewis J. Dixon.
Dr. Dixon earned his Doctorate of Ministry from the prestigious Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, and his Master of Divinity from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He also received a Master of Arts from Villanova University, and a Bachelors of Science from Kean College of NJ. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Dixon was licensed through American Baptist Churches of New Jersey and ordained through the Bethany Baptist Association. He served as a deacon for 7 years prior to being licensed and becoming an Associate Minister at the Historic Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church in Camden, NJ. He was also an Associate Pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington NJ.
Dr. Dixon, and his wife, Lady Tyra, are grateful to God, and to the congregation of Second Baptist church for this opportunity. They are eager to begin community outreach, and excited to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ here in Paulsboro. To God Be The Glory! Look What the Lord Has Done!

From Labor to reward...
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our former pastor, Rev. Dr. A.B. Frazier. Although he has transitioned from labor to reward, we thank God for his spirit of service and 32 years of dedication to our beloved church. We ask that you keep our former First Lady, Deaconess Phyllis Frazier, and the entire Frazier family in your prayers during this difficult time.

The Gloucester County WIC and Nursing Mobile Van is returning to Second Baptist Church! On Friday, January 24th, the WIC Van will be on site for Certification Measurements, Lost Card REplacements, Blood Pressure Screenings and more! To Schedule your appointment, call 856-423-7160 or text 85511.
