Min. Earl Washington, Jr.
Minister Earl R. Washington Jr. was born on October 27 th , 1993 in Philadelphia, PA as the youngest child born to Earl Washington Sr. and Shelly Knox. He accepted Christ at the age of 9 and was baptized on Resurrection Sunday March 23rd, 2003 at the Shalom Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Thornton H. Goff Jr. During his tenure at Shalom, he served on the Junior Choir, Junior Ushers, and Missionary ministries. He also gives high honor and recognition to his grandmother Elizabeth Jordan for his spiritual influence and Christian upbringing.
In February 2008, he joined the Triumph Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. James S. Hall Jr. Since that time, he has served on the Youth Choir, Mass Choir, Audio Visual Ministry, and the Junior Deacon Ministry. In 2012 at the age of 19 he accepted his call to the ministry, and on February 25th, 2015 he preached his initial sermon. He is currently a returning student at The Lincoln University majoring in Religion with a minor in Black Studies.
Minister Washington believes his mission and aim in life is to evangelize to the lost, and to equip and encourage every Christian believer both young and old through the word of God. His favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light, and my salvation; whom shall I fear The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
